My time as a programme mentor and group leader at GV was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The role gave me the chance to build skills in leadership, planning, and cultural engagement, but it was more than just that—it felt like we were part of a family. Working at GV Malta Summer Camp as a Programme Mentor from the 18th of June to the 24th of August has permitted me to develop my intercultural communication skills. Thanks to this experience, I have had the opportunity to work in a diverse team, with colleagues from different parts of Europe and managers with different nationalities. I found interesting and enriching working at GV’s Summer Camp team because when planning the activities each member contributed with an idea for a game taking into account the region they were from. Moreover, my colleagues and I also worked with European and non-European students at the site which made the experience even more enriching.

Available Positions

Team Leader

Be the heartbeat of GV Camp by leading activities, inspiring campers all while creating unforgettable memories!

You will:

Organise engaging games, excursions and creative workshops.
Inspire, oversee and assist campers to ensure they feel confident and welcomed.
Maintain a lively atmosphere and foster a supportive, friendly camp environment.
Offer support and lend a hand wherever necessary.

Requirements:

Enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Confident swimmer with a basic first aid certificate.
Eligible to work in Malta.
Clean police conduct certificate.
Minimum B2-level English proficiency.

Camp Facilitator

Take on a leadership role ensuring the smooth daily running of camp life.

You’ll:

What to Expect as a GV Camp Team Member

A Typical Weekday at GV Malta’s Summer Camp

Every day at GV Malta’s Summer Camp is full of energy, learning, and fun!

Here’s a look at how each day unfolds:

Breakfast with Residential Campers.
Welcome Language Campers and Day Campers.
Morning English Lessons – English lessons are conducted by our committed teachers, allowing you to plan activities, assist with camper well-being, administrative tasks or take it easy if you are not rostered to work.
Send Language Campers back to their families.
Lunch with Residential Campers and Day Campers
Afternoon & Evening Activities – Team leaders ensure campers are entertained and always supervised whether doing arts and crafts at GV Camp, relaxing on one of Malta’s many beautiful beaches or speeding off to Comino for a sunset picnic. Camp Facilitators keep the heart of GV Camp vibrant and energetic.
