Semi-Private courses, as said lessons will be
based on student needs.

A minimum of 3
students required to offer a regular class of 30
or 20 lessons a week. When there are only 2 or
less student/s enrolled, the student/s will
receive 20 private/semi lessons per week instead
of 30 or 15 private/semi lessons instead of 20. If
there are only 2 or less students enrolled in 10
lessons out of the 30 lesson course, the student/s
will have 20 group lessons + 5 private/semi
lessons per week. There will be no change in fees.

| Cambridge Course

IELTS/TOEFL private lessons per week.

Please note that on weeks where there are Public
Holidays, General English group and Exam courses will be
shorter. However, on the other 4 days, the timetable
will be extended by 30 minutes per day. Please see
Course Timetable. Business English Lessons, Private
Lessons and Semi-Private Lessons missed will be made
up. There is no refund for lessons missed.

Dismissal |

Malta reserves the right to dismiss students for
unacceptable behaviour or lack of attendance. No refund
will be given. Repatriation is at students’ own expense.

| English Only
Policy |
In order to
provide students with complete English immersion, GV
Malta follows a strict English Only Policy, where
students can only speak English on campus.
|

Cancellation Fees & Refund policy |
|
1.
If a student cancels up to 14 days before the
arrival/start date of the programme whichever comes
first, the school will refund all fees paid under the
contract.
2.
If a student cancels between 14 days and 1 day
before the arrival/start date of the programme the
school will refund 50% of all fees paid under the
contract.
3.
No refund will be paid if a student cancels (or
is dismissed) after the arrival/start date of the
programme.
4.
A €110 Cancellation Fee will be charged on all
cancellations.

Visas |
Payment must be received in full prior to any visa
documents being issued. If a visa application is
rejected and we receive written evidence at least 7 days
prior to arrival we will refund the fees received in
full, less the €110 Cancellation Fee. A cancellation
fee equivalent to 1 week accommodation and tuition will
apply if we receive evidence of rejection less than 7
days prior to arrival. GV Malta cannot be held
responsible for decisions taken by Maltese Embassies
regarding entry visas or visa extensions.

Accommodation changes |
If a
student wishes to change less than 2 weeks of his/her
booked accommodation, s/he will be subject to an extra
cost of 4 days of the original accommodation booked. If
a student wishes to change 2 weeks or more of his/her
booked accommodation, s/he will be subject to an extra
cost of 1 week of the original accommodation booked.

Changes to Enrolment |
GV
Malta reserves the right to charge an Administration Fee
of €25 each time the course or accommodation is changed
after GV Malta has confirmed the initial enrolment.
This also includes requests for changes whilst the
student is at school.

Insurance |
All
students should have an adequate travel and medical
insurance before they arrive in Malta. Those who do not
have this insurance will not be allowed to participate
in any of the leisure activities. We want to make sure
that all students will be covered for any eventuality.

Registration Form |
In order to register
your student or yourselves in any programme, please
fill in the on-line Registration Form and send, so
that we will be able to confirm your booking and
issue an appropriate Letter of Acceptance and
invoice.

Orientation Day |
On
the first Monday of the course, all students are
welcomed and placed in an appropriate class according to
his/her level. If a student does not reach the required
minimum level for a specific course, s/he may be asked
to change to Private Lessons or another course
available.

|
Activities |
We
offer a variety of excursions that one may choose from.
GV Malta reserves the right to make changes to the
activities programme due to weather conditions or any
other reasons beyond our control.

Payment Terms |
|
To
secure this booking, a 50% deposit should reach us
within one week of confirmation and the balance to be
paid at least 14 days before the start of the course.
Full payment is to be made for late bookings. When a
payment is made by Bank Transfer, a copy of the bank
receipt should be faxed to us as proof of payment. When
effecting payment by Credit Card, you are to advise
school of Credit card name, number and Expiry date. The
booking will be cancelled should we not receive the
deposit in the stipulated time. Bank fees outside of
Malta are to be charged to your account. Payments can
be made by Credit Card or by Bank transfer to the
