Information |
- FCE/CAE exam courses consist of General
English group lessons +
15 FCE/CAE group lessons per week.
- FCE/CAE minimum course 8 weeks, recommended
12 weeks.
- 10 students maximum per class.
- FREE one-way transfer to Cambridge exam
centre included.
- FREE WiFi available to all students with
laptops.
- FREE tea & coffee offered at 10.30am.
- A minimum of two students required to offer
a regular exam class. If there is only one student
per class, 10 lessons will be reduced to 5; 15
to 10; 20
to 15; 30 to 20. There will be no change in
fees.
Placement test: Prior to starting the
course you will be given a placement test to
determine your level of English. If you do
not have the level required for a certain exam
you may be advised to follow an Intensive Course
prior to the start date to obtain the required
level.

IELTS Preparation
Courses

IELTS is accepted by most
Australian, British, Canadian and New Zealand
academic institutions. American academic institutions
are increasingly accepting IELTS for admissions
purposes.
IELTS Course information
- The IELTS Preparation course consists of 20 General English
group lessons + 10 IELTS group lessons per
week.
- IELTS Preparation minimum course 6
weeks, recommended 8 weeks.
- FREE WiFi available to all students with
laptops.
- FREE tea & coffee offered in winter at
10.30am; in summer at 10am/1.30pm.
- Further IELTS private lessons may
be booked as required. All candidates take
the same listening and speaking modules.
There is an option of either academic or
general training reading and writing modules.

TOEFL
Test

Global
Village prepares students for the Test of
English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL®). The Test
measures the ability of non-native speakers of
English to use and understand English.
Most people who take the
TOEFL test are planning to study at colleges and
universities in the United States and Canada. In
addition, many places of employment, government
agencies, scholarship programmes, and
licensing/certification agencies use TOEFL
scores to evaluate English proficiency.
The course comprises of 20 General English
Lessons + 5 Private Lessons of TOEFL preparation
classes. Further TOEFL private lessons may
be booked as required. Please contact the School
for further information.
The test fee is in the
region of USD 145. All bookings for the test
must be done in advance on the website
www.ets.org
before the registration deadline. Global Village
English Centre
is unable to accept TOEFL iBT test bookings
directly. Register early as test centres fill up
quickly!!
