Leisure Plus Information

§          Practise more English with Leisure Plus activities and add some fun to your language holiday. Language course fees are not included in the Leisure Plus price.

§          Culture & History is ideal for those students wishing to combine a language course and then explore the island accompanied by a native English speaker. During the tour, your private leader will tell you all about our Maltese culture, history and local traditions and take you to important sites. Transport and a total of 5 hours of touring included.

§          Horse riding includes a total of 5 hours of horse riding around a sandy beach, rocky cliffs or the countryside with a professional instructor and return transfers to riding school.

§          Diving PADI Open Water course includes equipment and transport to dive sites, 5 confined water training sessions, 4 open water dives and 5 theory lessons. By the end of this course the student should be familiar with the equipment and be able to relax and enjoy diving to a depth of 18 metres. Books, certification and medical fees not included.

§          Diving PADI Advanced follows the Open Water course or equivalent and is almost an all diving course with minimal theory. Includes equipment and transport to dive sites and consists of a Navigation and Deep dive plus 3 other dives such as U/W Naturalist, Wreck, Night and U/W Photographer. Books, certification and medical fees not included.

§          6 Dive Pack Plus includes a wreck dive, night dive and 2 boat dives.

§          Sailing: Sailing charters and courses are very popular with students and are offered on board a 35ft racer/cruise sailing yacht. All rates include hiring of yacht, personal life saving equipment, qualified and experienced instructor/skipper and course materials. Maximum 4 students per group. Transfers to/from yacht not included.

§          Sailing Day Charter includes a day sailing, conducted by a qualified skipper, to beautiful parts of the islands of Malta, where one could sail or swim. Snacks and drinks on board.

§          Sailing Beginner’s course level 1 is ideal for the newcomer. Topics covered include description and identification of main boat parts, basic knots, nautical terminology, safety procedures, wind direction, basic sailing, team work. 4 sessions X 4 hours per session.

§          Sailing Course level 2 follows level 1 or those with some previous experience equivalent to level 1. Topics include Upwind close hauled sailing, beating, tacking, gybing, reaching & downwind, rules of the sea, further knots and rope work, MOB procedures, weather interpretation. 5 sessions X 4 hours per session.

§          Golf green fee package includes 3 rounds X 18 holes, 1 return taxi transfer and a full set of Bayhill Clubs, pull trolley and electric buggy.

Leisure Plus

Activities may be taken alone or combined with an English course.
